04:39 pm - Engagement I'm a bit late in saying this but since I haven't really been on LJ in like forever, and I'm not not even sure who even reads it anymore...I don't know if it really matters. Anyway, Me and Chris are getting married on June 27th. I'm really excited...there's also so much to do.

11:51 am - fun fun fun okay so I went to Cyber Jocks yesterday. It's basically a lan center or rather a gaming or internet center. They have tons of single player and multiplay games (mmo online ones too). They also have two HUGE screens for xbox and gamecube games. They also ahve Playstation games (only like 2) with DDR being one. They also have this guitar game I didn't see on the list. I ended up playing World of Warcraft a good part of the time so its kind of funny that I paid for it. I went ahead with the thursday night special but usually if you play a MMO that you already pay a montly fee your credits are double. For instance one credit will be 2 hours since you're already paying for the game so they want it to be cheaper for you. I went with Mooja and his cowerks there. They also sell panni sandwhichs and stuff there and the guy was nice and let us eat them in the VIP room even though normall you can't.( they laos have vegertarian cheese sandwhiches and ice cream and stuff). I was like one of the only females in there. Friday nights are ladies nights and all females get in for free after 5pm. I'm curious how many females actually come. So if any ladies r eading this want to come sometime for free games, give me a hollar. They have super smash brothers (game cube), the sims 2 and plenty of online multiy player games. I feel like such a nerd right now. lol http://www.cyberjocks.com/index.php?mode=link&id=28 Current Mood: bouncy

02:08 am - Firefly! A couple weeks ago, Mooja talked me into watching Firefly. We ended up finishing it all and we watched Serenity. Now THAT's a kick ass movie. lol I really like the series and it has Joss Wheadon (I don't think I am spelling that right) written all over it. I mean there were a couple episodes that REALLY reminded me of buffy. Don't get me wrong, it is very original and the movie was kind of sad ....:( And there is a def. lack of vmapires . I just could see some of his favorite trademarks thats all...but I found out later that some of the actors were used in BTVS and Angel. I think a lot of them got the roles after Firefly didn't work out...but that could just be rumor since I know both shows (BTVS and Angel) were perhaps over by then? Can't really remember. But yes, I do reconmend this show and I honestly don't know why I didn't watch it before. I really like River. She says like the best things sometimes, oh and Kaylie is just terrific.
I'm not trying to give too many spoilers but I really hope that in the rest of the movies, the characters don't get all killed off. I seriously doubt that that would happen, since Firefly doesn't really have that feel to it so far...but you never know. The Reavers could decide to have an all-you-can-eat buffet. . 01:14 am - noooo http://www.ushicon.com/
I had no clue. :(
Okay, actually I kept on wondering why they changed it to "Ushicon Go!" not just Ushicon 5 or whatever. But I don't remember them ever talking about it being the last con ever. I'm not sure how the club things will work since like they pointed out, there's too many people. It might be fun though. Current Mood: surprised

03:35 pm - Anime Would Have Changed my Life Seriously. It's the same as any other fiction, books, movies, you know they are not real but they can still have an impact on your life. Recently I have realized that I might have acted differently if I had read certain mangas or seen certain animes. There hasn't been any "normal" books or movies that have really made me rethink things like that. I really do believe if if they had shown certain ones at schoo lor church it would have helped me a lot m ore. lol. Except a lot of anime probably seems sacrilous or "inappriporate" but whatever. We've all been told fables and other cauntionary tales but nothing like this. Call me a nerd or anime/manga crazed but I still wished I had stumbled upon certain series earlier. Oh BTW I am NOT using it as a weird kind of reliigon or something to be taken seriously lol. I know who really does change your life but I'm just saying that I think I might have learned better from watching and reading different stuff.

12:52 am - Eek! I suddenly feel a lot like Garfield. I weighed myself tonight and at first it said 249 pounds. I weighed myself again and thankfully, it was much lower. I am already dreading Monday. When have I EVER liked Monday? Also I feel really lazy right now and Narr Narr suddenly seems a lot like Pooky. Oh well, at least I don't have a carving for lasagna. Oh, and last time I checked I haven't ever kicked a dog. However, I have always had a fear of spiders. Current Mood: Sexy
